Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at UMMC

Thank you for your interest in our Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship. The University of Mississippi Medical Center serves as the only Level one trauma center in the state of Mississippi and we therefore have a very high volume of both blunt (~70%) and penetrating trauma (~30%). In addition to this, we are the main referral center for the majority of the sequelae of trauma including malunion, nonunion, and infections.

This provides a very comprehensive training opportunity. 

We are an OTA and AO-accredited fellowship.
